about

“Like with the previous release New Fears, the band has again put emphasis on the meaning of the song, however this time differently than ever before. The song is driven by a simple and repeatable lyric, which stands out with its juxtaposition, a contrast between the meaning and presentation. “Everybody already knows .... everybody always dies” are words we can hardly imagine without a dark or sad undertone, however the band wraps these words in a calmer and more neutral performance, as if this statement isn’t supposed to evoke a strong feeling. The lyrics are relentless and it seems the constant repetition only solidifies the idea that this uncomfortable statement is an unavoidable fact.“
